1. {The Past} I think the hardest part of my life is letting things go... as much as i've enjoyed my childhood & teenage years.... as a grown man, looking back.. i always seem to ponder.. why? what if? where? & what. ... the irresistable 4 w's..

2. {My Job} I cant complain tho, these "irresistable thoughts" have helped me gain so much in my profession...which leads to my songwriting/singing/produc

tion... ..my # 1 passion. Just like my father i am on my way to owning a coutless ammount of songs and poems. I thank god for the creative mind i was born with ... and for the inspiration my family gives me through every season.

3. {Television} I'm starting to hate the TV set, .. other than a bowl of cereal & sports highlights late at night.... I cant picture myself being caught up and glued in front of your average half an hour piece of ignorant SHIT program. It's funny too because i didn't even have access to cable tv untill i was about 17... The newspaper is already enough... and I'm so tired of seeing certain people displayed the way they are..... we have too many problems already..... and straight up, my boy brelynd really made me realize... BET your fucking up big.

4. {The Radio} Number 4 can be in connection with number 3.... the radio... it is the death of the music industry.. (college radio is good but still!). it's poisin to our ears and soul, and the sad thing is.. not alot of people really understand why it is a problem. I'd like to think that real music, music with hope is on it's way back into our lives.. but it's not unless a sea of multi million dollar artists start sending out the right messages and stop promoting what they are promoting.. they are in control right now. plain and simple.. I like to think that i could change this.... and the artists surrounding me could too.. i mean all you really have to do is press play...

5. {Family} I have a perfect family, and i know they probably dont feel this way.. but i feel like i can lean on them for guidance and help at anytime. They will always provide the right advice and will always stay true to their beliefs... Mom, Dad, Katie & Caroline. I love you so much for that.

6. {University} It's hard for me to say this but i pulled a Kayne West.... I left Ryerson university to follow my dreams... What do you do when when your always coming home unhappy..... writing pages of songs instead of pages of essay's. I do miss the learning experience, the multicutural atmosphere, my journeys on the go train, the women, but most of all.. seeing the beautiful downtown core of Toronto everyday... I may still be around...but it just doesn't seem to feel the same... But.. just like Mr. West I go hard... and dream of one day being part of the Grammy family. ......I will go back when i can...

7. {"She's So Stush} I have a problem with stush females, you know the ones who are so stuck up in their gucci and prada to remember the actual finer things in life... the ones who will make sure every peice of lint is off their shirt but wont clean up their garbage at the end of their meals... you could be the hottest woman on earth but if your not down to earth.... your a waste of time to me..... i'm sooo coollldddd brrrrr. ...... (screwface)

8. {Obama} I have NEVER been interested in political figures untill this year... and yes OBAMA is responsible for that! .....It's not often a person in power can give you that feeling of freedom.. i get goose bumps hearing his speeches and on that tip... he speaks as if he were brothers with Martin Luther King & JFK... He truly does give us hope that change will come & I'm hoping all of his policies do come true in the future...... is it wrong to say i'm also happy to not see another boring old white war obsessed human being in charge...? ...it's about time we all can say.. the president is cool.

9. {Industry Trends} I hate autotune with a passion, if you dont know what it is by now your just a lost soul. lol..... but I hate hearing talented vocalists use it (ex. chris brown, jamie foxx)..if you cant sing too... then just dont. i dont want to hear you sounding like an over-emotional robot ....i hate hearing rappers use it the most..ughh Wayne your too good to use it and Kayne West once again his newest album was so real and so personal.. he didn't give a shit and i loved it for that... but in the meantime i hated it for the overuse of Autotune and Guitar Rig.. "The Pitch Tuner" is receiving way more attention than it should be... I even wrote a song about autotune... comparing it to a girl who couldn't hit her notes in life... yeah i know it's a fly concept. ....ps.. i hate autotune as much as the word swagger... ughhh The New Word For Swag Is Aura PPL!

10. {My Job pt.2} I have a song discography of close to 400 that i've written/sang on... almost all of them are over original songs i produced. My production is something i'm extremely proud and excited about... I have a library of over 600 instrumentals i've created from scratch. I'm also happy to see my career moving smoothly... Over this past year I've opened and tour'd with major lable artists such as... platinum rnb singer Ray J, Toronto's own Kardinal Offishall, Choclair, Enur, & Rich Boy, had 2 #1 singles with my group on major & college radio stations, started my own lable (Feel Good Ent) with 5 other passionate musicians, written for major lable artists and much more.... 2009 and is going to be even better.!

11. {Shape} I love women with curves... straight up... i'm addicted to an hour glass figure.... ..... grease..

12. {Stay Proper And Fitted} I love clothes.... i always need the same shirt in 3 or 4 different colors, usually black, green, brown & blue. I cant say i waste money on clothes because i dont phene for top designer wear... i guess you can say im a smart shopper with good taste or you could just be an idiot and say i'm not "ballin" hahahaha

13. {Superficial} I hate couples who put their relationships on blast.... i mean.. i'm a lover, and i love to be in love...we were all young once and loved to do that puppy love shittt... but really... how superficial can two people get. I dont need to see your pictures of you making out and your little "BLAHBLAH... is.. i love you for life<3<3" facebook status. STOP. your annoying. Pick up the phone or email them... thats it.

14. {Chicago} I visited Chi Town two years ago.. i remember my nephew logan was so tiny riding in the back of that suv.. he had to only be about 3 or 4 months.. and he didn't cause a fuss the whole trip.. including the 10-12 hour ride both ways, i was amazed.... Being in the heart of that city put my heart at peace.... everything was so laid back, from the orchestrated street musicians, late night chess game hustles to the amazing skyline and beautiful bright lights...The Windy City Of Chicago is my future home when i'm ready to go.

15. {Fears} I overcame my 3 biggest fears this past summer on a trip to Mexico with my family. Of course the first was stepping into a plane and taking off over the ocean. Being that high up just didn't feel right. haha... Second was going out into the ocean and snorkeling... my fear of open water has haunted me ever since i was a little blonde boy... and i was smack dabbed right in the middle of it doggy paddlin... i cant swim well.... and third ... sharks, i was out far enough and deep enough that anything could of just ate me for lunch.... but really that was the one time in my life where i forgot about everything and only felt... invicible. ... but get this... More people are killed by fallen pop machines than by sharks every year. hahahaha... so next time you reach into a vending machine because somethings stuck... think twice man.

16. {Tatted Up} I have 5 tattoo's, i'm definately in love with the art of tattooing... but i'm also very picky and would never ink something on me that i would regret... so far i have "shine" with a music note (on my neck), "blessed" (on my wrist), "e.m.b. always here" (on my chest) (Eulalia Marie Brooks, my nana.), "be both a soldier and a shepard, be strong be true be you" (Martin Luther King) (on my back), and "P.U.S.H. (pray untill something happens) (beneath my right bicept). .. i also love the feeling of being tattoo'd... messed eh?

17. {Chasing Dreams} The most relaxing thing in the world is hearing my dad rehearse his instrumental guitar peices at night.. or hearing his thoughts on anything.. his stories on being in top ten bands and touring on peanut butter and jelly packs haha, he's the reason im chasing this dream...this is our dream.... not mine.. if you stepped into my house you would say the same thing...

18. {Family pt.2} I named my chocolate lab B when we couldnt decide on a name for her.... why did i call her B... well she's brown that's why, she's always so happy so my family has come to the conclusion that she has downs syndrom... (i know i know i know... its still funny tho) she sleeps at the end of my bed everynight and tries to push me off everytime. ... i also have an angry and lazy overweight cat named Lucky.... dont mess with her she's crazy for real.

19. {Open Your Ears} I listen to all kinds of music just like everyone else in my family, The Beatles, Joni Mitchell, Marvin Gaye, Ray Charles, Michael Jackson, James Taylor, Led Zepellin, The Police, A Tribe Called Quest, Mozart, Al Green, De La Soul, RUN DMC, The Fugees, Brookfield, The Brooks Sisters, The Good Lovelies, Prodigy, R Kelly, D'angelo, Lauryn Hill, Barrington Levy, Bob Marley, .... these are just some of the sounds i was raised on.... I believe that as an artist or no matter who you are you cant stick to one thing... ur mind has to be tuned into hundreds of different records at once to truly understand music.... We all forget but..... we couldnt live without basslines, keys, kicks & snares.... Life wouldnt make sense without a soundtrack.

20. {Too nice?} I always let the people around me hold me back from what i really want to do, they walk all over me when they know how i feel..even some of my closest friends still do it.....this is something thats about to change.. i have learned this past year that you CAN be TOO nice.. and i did learn the hard way.. it's time to let everyone know.. 21. {Thank you} Both of my parents father's passed away around the same age they are now and it scares me..... I wish i could of met them both and shook their hands and said thank you... for raising the most amazing people on this planet.

22. {Foot Prints} Both of my beautiful sisters are married to wonderful people, Both live in nice houses, it kind of freaks me out because they are both so young...Katie started a family & caroline continues to tour the country with her band..... They are so far ahead and focused on what they want to do..... I hope i can follow in their footsteps to a place where i can be just as comfortable and successful.... I look up to them for that.

23. {Movies & Books} My favorite movie of all time is... Love and Basketball. or August Rush..... i'm really starting to feel like he does in that movie.... everything i hear is just another sound i can bank in my library..... get it?... I cant say i'm a big reader but these past couple years i fell in love with two books, One on Quincy Jones, & Another called The Soloist (The movie is coming out soon!)

24. {Walking} I will hate the day when i cant get up to walk down the street, besides creating music, walking is my favorite thing to do.. it helps me regain control of ... everything...... the sound of my footsteps will always remind me of what i love, ... one day i will be reminded.. that life is so unfair.

25. {Honestly...} I will always tell it like it is.... im a broke musician with big dreams.
